Sexual health care, private and completely confidential
A dedicated pelvic physiotherapy team builds your programme and adjusts your plan as you progress, with AI tracking your progress between sessions to keep them informed. No waiting list. No clinic visits.
Care that fits around your life
Many of the conditions pelvic physiotherapy addresses are ones that women manage quietly, often for years. Leaking, pelvic pain, changes after childbirth or surgery, discomfort that has gradually become part of daily life. These are real, common conditions. For most, effective support exists. A Portuguese pelvic physiotherapy team manages your programme from first assessment through to discharge, with clinical support that continues between sessions rather than pausing until the next appointment. Your progress is tracked throughout, and your plan adjusts as your symptoms change, not just when you next get an appointment.

Why privacy matters more than convenience
For most pelvic floor conditions, consistent, personalised exercise under the guidance of a specialist is what drives meaningful improvement. What determines whether that happens is not where sessions take place, but whether they happen at all, and whether the programme adapts as symptoms change.
Privacy matters here in a way that goes beyond convenience. When sessions happen wherever you feel most comfortable, rather than in a clinical setting, the discomfort of discussing and addressing intimate conditions disappears. That privacy makes it easier to start, and easier to continue.
Your pelvic physiotherapy team builds your programme around your specific situation, tracks how you are progressing between sessions, and adjusts your plan as things change. You do not need to repeat your history to a different clinician at each visit. The same team follows you from first session to discharge.
Research on pelvic floor training in digital, home-based formats supports it as a feasible and effective approach for most pelvic floor conditions.² However, in cases where in-person assessment is clinically necessary, your pelvic physiotherapy team will be the first to advise you.
Why people choose Sword
People choose Sword because it makes consistent recovery realistic. Here's what that looks like.
Private care, with expert oversight throughout
Your programme is built and managed by your women's health specialist, working within a physiatrist-led clinical team who review your progress and adjust your plan. Nothing about your care requires anyone in the room except you.
Consistency becomes possible

Your plan changes as you do
Your pelvic physiotherapy team tracks your progress between sessions. When something shifts (a change in symptoms, a new concern, a milestone), your plan shifts with it.

What it's like to use Sword
Your space, your schedule
No treatment room or clinic visit needed. Each session is guided through the Sword app, on your own time, wherever you feel most comfortable.
Get to know the Pod
Your Sword Pod is a medical-grade silicone intravaginal device, CE marked, about the size of a tampon, that tracks your pelvic floor muscle contractions and relaxations. The app guides you through each step, from insertion to a short session, usually 5 to 10 minutes, and shows your muscle activity on screen as it happens, so you always know you're doing the exercise correctly.
Your women's health specialist
A women's health specialist is with you for your whole programme. Your pelvic physiotherapy team sees your progress as it comes in and adjusts your plan as your symptoms change.
Continuous support, whenever you need it
Traditional care waits for the next appointment. Sword doesn't. Your pelvic physiotherapy team reviews your session data as it comes in and can adjust your plan before your next session, not just during it. Reach out in the app any time, and your team responds.
What people say about us
I have been feeling some improvements. Yesterday I had sexual intercourse and noticed I was much more relaxed. Much better than usual!
Today, while running on the treadmill, I didn't experience any urine leakage at all.
Being able to do the exercises at home, at night, after work, was the only way I could manage to take care of myself. I felt like I regained control of my body and my life, at my own pace.
I like the app and the exercises. The pod is cute, has the right color and a soft texture. The physiotherapist is 5 stars.
The exercises are easy to understand and the app is functional, intuitive, and graphically very pleasant.
Before, I often didn't know if I was doing exercises correctly, but with the pod, I have an accurate guide. It makes the session super fun, it feels like a game where I am controlling my body. Small victories, which are huge to me. Thank you!
